Good, Exciting News

On one ordinary Friday evening of June the 12th, a caregroup shares the happiness of a pair of love-birds as they announce their official engagement since Thursday the 11th of June.

The cute couple also shares about the proposal experience, that left the caregroup in "oohs" and "aahs". A diamond ring is also sighted on the lady's fourth finger.

Ministry Fair

I think ministry fair is cool. It's v good opportunity to find out about gifts God has given us as well...It's got a festive atmosphere, despite the number of people...Wish we can have more of these kinda events! Maybe with lollypops and cotton candy! hahaha.

I watched the video by louise giglio today for shepherding w Jasmine. It remined me again that the Lord is a great God, and how small I am in comparison to all of God's creation. The Hubble telescope is fantastic tool, to capture the very heart of that galazy, showing Christ in the picture. However, I am still quite saddened by some people who might rationalise and think it's just a coincidence that that core is in such a shape, or that the shape of laminin is cross-like, probably coz evolution finds it a very good shape to bind the body cells together.

Just wanted to share this video that Chew told me about a couple of months ago. It's super encouraging.



Anita, this is the video that I was telling you about but I thought it'll be great to share it with the rest of the CG!
Hope this encourages you to plant a seed in people around you and it's not that they need to become a Christian straightaway. It's only our job to plant the seed but for God to grow it!!

BTW, we are trying to organise something to do on Friday before CG coz it's ANZAC Day! Would be great to do something together. It's gonna be a warm afternoon (24C!) so was thinking of picnic somewhere. Will confirm again but do try to keep it free yea!!! :D :D

my Baptism?

Hi dear caregroup~
I'm gonna have my baptism this Saturday at St Kilda beah 11am. I'm feeling really excited inside. ALthough I may not look so, but I just can feel the pulses of adrenaline going through my brain in my blood. (err wat?) Yup, hopefully u dears can come, and we can have fun at the beach and have some lunch together afterwards. :D Hopefully the weather will be great too! (ehehehe) Meanwhile, have a great and blessed week! :)

Farewell Mei Ter

For those who don't know, Mei has returned to KL to continue her studies at Monash Sunway. On the 03/02/08 those who were still in Melbourne had a small farewell gathering at Chadstone Pancake parlour. Bye bye bye.

So as a final farewell, we made up a bath tub full of milk and cream which she was dunked in. We then smeared more cream and butter all over making for the perfect treat for the two dogs we brought in to lick her clean. Well that's what WOULD have happened had we been one of the CLAYTON caregroups. Fortunately for Mei, we are the Caulfield group (even though only one person in the group actually goes to Caulfield?) all we did was the cream...
