I have to say that I love this Bible Conference.
At the beginning of the Sunday service, they gave us time to greet people from other centres. I spoke to this guy, Richard, which is from Hope City Centre.
At that time, it was too noisy and I heard that he is from Thai instead of Brunei. Then he started speaking Cantonese to me when he knew I am from Hong Kong. I was so amazed that he is from Thai and he speaks Cantonese!! (At least I thought he is from Thai at that time LOL)
Then I spoke to Mary, a Thai girl from Clayton cg. I told her: "Hey, there is a guy from Thai can speak Cantonese." Then I pointed to Richard. She asked me, "Thai is Thailand or Taiwan?" Hmmm.. I was confused by her haaa. But she walked straight to Richard and greet him with Thai. And I felt stomachache and rushed to toilet, did not join their conversation.
During lunch time, I met Richard again. He said he was surprised that there was a girl walked to him and greeted him with Thai and found me disappeared hahahaa. He was so kind that he brought me to his caregroup and introduced his friends to me!
Then I realised Francis is in their caregroup as well!!! Francis is a guy who attended our caregoup and church previously. He told me at the time he stopped attending our church and caregroup, our former cg1. His friend brought him to another church in the city and started attending caregroup AND realised their caregroup is just next to his apartment!! AND the church his friend attending is HOPE City Centre!! AND now I know his friends!!
Did not see him for so long in Caulfield campus. I was surprised to see him in the Bible Conference. God is so amazing. It's really God's plan for him.
