Interesting Pic of Japan

As I was researching about Japan for a report, I came across this picture:

So cute right?!
I found this from a Christian site that tries to explain how God might feel towards the atomic bombs dropped in Japan during WWII.
The main religions in Japan are Shinto or Buddhism. But Japanese generally are not very religious, coming to temples and shrines during festival celebrations to ask for good luck, wealth and prosperity.
From the info I gathered, Christianity came to Japan through missionaries in 16th century. They began work mainly in western Japan, but the faith was persecuted by an emperor due to political reasons. Currently, Christians make up about less than 1% of the population in Japan. Japan needs Jesus!
